In October of 2019, the Lucky Seven Foundation awarded Circle of Friends with a $14,000 grant. The Lucky Seven Foundation continues to support Circle of Friends operations with 100% of their funds going to support our programming.
In June of 2019, Circle of Friends was awarded a $4,000 grant from the Crane Foundation for Widows and Children. The Crane Foundation for Widows and Children recognize charitable agencies that provide for the welfare of needy and deserving men, women and children.
In September of 2018, the Lucky Seven Foundation awarded Circle of Friends with a $5,000 grant to support our operations.
In March of 2017, Circle of Friends was awarded a $15,000 grant from the Lucky Seven Foundation. The Lucky Seven Foundation is our founding sponsor and continues to be a critical partner that allows us to continue our work in the community.
Circle of friends for Mental Health was just informed that we were one of the non-profit organizations who applied for funding and was awarded an Arts Sustained Support award in the amount of $2,100 per year for 2017 and 2018 by 4Culture Foundation.
4Culture, the cultural services agency for King County, Washington is committed to making our region stronger by supporting citizens and groups who preserve our shared heritage, and create arts and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors.
This year, more organizations than ever before applied for funding through the Arts Sustained Support program. For the 2015-16 cycle, 303 organizations applied; this time around 359 organizations applied. The adjudication panels, charged with distributing limited funding over an ever-increasing field, evaluated organizations based on criteria specific to the program.
